Terms of use

The terms on which this website is provided. Engagement terms for an audit are a separate document, agreed per engagement.

1. Who we are

This website, cami.build, is operated by Akil Ltd, trading as CAMI, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [[COMPANY_NUMBER]], registered office [[REGISTERED_ADDRESS]]). “CAMI”, “we” and “us” in these terms mean that company. Contact: [email protected].

2. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of this website and its content. They do not govern an audit or any other service: those are provided under written engagement terms agreed with the commissioning firm, which take precedence over anything here.

3. Information, not advice

The content of this site describes a methodology and a service. It is general information and is not engineering, legal, regulatory or financial advice, and it does not create a professional relationship or a duty of care to you or to any third party. Statements about where AI may or may not be used are made to a commissioning firm within an engagement, on the facts of that firm, and only there.

Figures shown on this site that are marked illustrative are not measurements and must not be cited as such. Any published benchmark figure carries its source, sample and date; cite it with those.

4. Intellectual property

The text, design, marks and figures on this site, the CAMI name and the ca·mi wordmark, and the underlying assessment instrument are our property or used under licence. You may read and link to this site and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce the instrument, the six- dimension framework descriptions or the figures for commercial purposes, or present any of it as your own, without written permission.

5. Your use of the site

You agree not to use this site to send unsolicited or unlawful material, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, to scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or to misrepresent your identity in any form you submit. We may withdraw or change any part of the site without notice.

6. Contact forms and email

Information you send through the contact form or by email is handled as described in our privacy notice. Sending an enquiry does not create an engagement; an engagement exists only when written terms are signed.

7. Third-party links

Where we link to other sites we do so for reference. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, the site is provided “as is”; we do not warrant that it is error-free or uninterrupted, and we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on its content outside a written engagement.

9. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above is the date of the current version.
