What you can count on
A few promises sit behind every audit. They’re written into the engagement terms; here they are in plain words.

1. We’re independent
CAMI is run by Akil Intelligence Ltd, the company that also builds the Construction Intelligence Graph your audit is mapped onto. If a report ever mentions an Akil service, it says so plainly. You’re free to build with whoever you like, and we don’t take fees from any vendor we name.
2. What people tell us stays with us
Conversations are private. Your report shares what we found, never who said it. We talk with your people and we report it as a picture of the whole firm, never person by person. Our notes are pseudonymised, kept by us and not shared with anyone else.
We do it this way because it’s how the audit works best: people describe how work really gets done when they know it won’t be traced back to them.
3. We keep the scoring method to ourselves
You get your results, with the evidence and the reasoning behind each one. The scoring method itself we keep private. That keeps it fair: every firm is measured the same way, and nobody can tune their answers to it.
4. Every audit helps the graph learn
Each audit adds anonymised patterns to the Construction Intelligence Graph. Later audits are mapped onto it, and over time the benchmark comes from it. This is part of every engagement, and the engagement terms set out three things:
- What we remove. Firm names, project names, people, and any mix of sector, size, location and workflow that could point to your firm, all taken out before anything leaves the engagement.
- When a pattern is used. Something we learn from one firm is held back. We don’t share it with any other firm until we’ve seen it at a minimum number of firms, or a public source backs it up.
- Who owns what. The anonymised patterns and benchmark data belong to Akil Intelligence Ltd, which runs CAMI and the graph. Your report, and the findings and recommendations about your firm, belong to you.
5. Our “must not” calls come with reasons
When we say AI shouldn’t be used somewhere, we explain why. We reason it from the relevant law, standard or professional duty, and ground it in the Construction Intelligence Graph and CAMI’s audit rubric. These calls are our professional opinion to your firm. They aren’t a certification, and they don’t create a duty to anyone else (see the Terms of use).
6. We only publish numbers we can stand behind
We won’t publish cohort figures, distributions or comparisons until we have the data to support them. Any figure we do publish comes with its source, sample and date. Where a figure on this site is only an illustration, we say so.
Where your material is kept
Notes, working papers and your report are prepared and kept by us in the United Kingdom. At the end of the retention period in your engagement terms, we delete them.
